What Is Elementary First Aid? | EFA Training | KMC Clinic

Learn Basic First Aid Techniques That Could Save a Life

Elementary First Aid (EFA) is a basic level of first aid training that teaches individuals how to handle emergency situations and provide immediate assistance to someone who is injured or suddenly falls ill. We as a First aid provider at KMC Clinic , we cover basic first aid techniques such as how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), control bleeding, treat burns, and provide basic life support. EFA training is typically required for seafarers, as well as for workers in other industries such as aviation and offshore oil and gas. EFA training is an important part of maritime safety and is mandated by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and other national and international regulatory bodies. We provide training at marine institutes and we offer EFA training courses for individuals and organizations who need to meet these requirements. Our experienced instructors provide hands-on training that prepares participants to respond to emergency situations with confidence and competence.

KMC Clinic co ordinate EFA courses for individuals and organizations looking to learn the basic principles of providing first aid in emergency situations.

Our EFA program by KMC Clinic Team members were designed to teach participants how to recognize and respond to common medical emergencies, such as bleeding, shock, fractures, burns, and more. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the steps of assessing the situation, administering appropriate first aid measures, and stabilizing the victim until professional medical help arrives.

We use the latest training techniques and equipment to ensure that our participants receive the highest quality training. Our EFA program is DG Approved, meaning that it meets the standards set by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) for maritime training.

Upon completion of our EFA training program, participants will receive a certificate of competency from marine institute that is recognized by the DGS. This certificate is valid for five years and can be renewed through our refresher courses.

Sign up for our EFA program today and gain the knowledge and skills you need to respond effectively in emergency situations!
